Based on 797 reviewsThe Park Restaurant in Burlington, NC, is widely appreciated for its cozy and relaxed atmosphere, making it a favored spot for breakfast enthusiasts seeking a genuine and hearty meal. Reviewers commonly praise the freshness and substantial portions of their dishes, especially breakfast classics like country ham plates, pancakes, waffles, and sandwiches. While the overall food quality is consistently described as tasty and well-prepared, some feedback suggests minor improvements could be made in seasoning and vegetable tenderness. The service is frequently noted as friendly and efficient, with staff delivering meals promptly even during busy times. Customers also highlight the reasonable pricing and the inviting environment, contributing to repeated visits. Minor requests for improved table settings, such as additional napkins, appear occasionally but do not detract from the positive dining experience. Overall, The Park Restaurant maintains a solid reputation for delivering satisfying breakfasts in a welcoming setting.
First time, definitely will be back. Country ham plate will be my go to. My kids loved the waffles, pancakes and bacon eggs cheese biscuit. If you want a real breakfast and not fast food this is it.
First time going their and the food looks amazing. I got the Philly and it was decent but the veggies needed to be cooked a bit longer for tenderness and it could use some seasoning. Even with mayo the sandwich with cheese was slightly bland. The bun was amazing though. I will come back to try other dishes everything looks amazing especially breakfast.
I always go to The Park when I'm in town. Love breakfast, panni- cakes for the win! Sandwiches are always fresh and filling, can't go wrong with the burgers. Atmosphere is easy going.
Relaxing environment, great selection of items to choose from. Perfect temperature when delivered and very tasty. Could use additional napkins than the one provided with silverware.
I have been here a few times and every time was wonderful! The food is fantastic and fairly priced, the atmosphere is very cozy, and all the waitstaff I have met are friendly. The food always comes quickly, but today it came in record time, and the parking lot was full of cars so I was quite surprised by that. Also, shout out to our server today, Tammy. She is a very kind lady, and her service was flawless :)
This is a nice Greek style diner with a nice atmosphere. When driving by, the parking lot always looks full which has deterred us from coming before. We decided to stop in this time. The service was friendly from start to finish. I got the Carolina style burger with onion rings. The onion rings were fresh cut. My partner got the Philly steak omelet with grits and toast. The grits were real and not the five minute grits.
The appetizer onion rings are homemade!! Wonderful service. Excellent food. Loved the cheese grits. Great value; portions, and prices are excellent.
The service was really friendly. My only complaint is that when they're done with you, they're done. When we were almost finished eating, our server brought the bill and left, never to return. I still needed a box, which I had to request from another server. Then I wasn't sure if we paid our server or got up to pay. For those who aren't regulars, you pay at the register near the door. I was told by the cashier they forget that not everyone is a "regular" sometimes. The food was absolutely fantastic. The bacon was just the right amount of crispy for me, which is a feat in and if itself. The coffee was perfect. The grits were pretty good, too. The little person with me loved her French Toast. This was a near enough to a perfect experience that the little things were just that... little things. I plan to become a regular, now that I know where to pay.
